Don't you just love the Dots?!

This one is my newest to date, its blue sky green grass all done in dots, a labor of love, I'm obsessed with the dots.

One of my personal favorites, love the mix of the quail and the grapes, not a wine drinker but I'm sure this would suit a wine themed household.

This one was done to satisfy a request by a friends daughte.

Limestone Swan Torn Paper Art #159

This is my latest work, my husband and daughter visited Altair Farm Limestone Lake Quarry and came back to tell me that they saw a pair of beautiful swans on the lake. That was my inspiration for this torn paper collage.  I named this one Limestone Swan.

This is my latest study in Torn Paper Art Collage - I have always admired the works of Edgar Degas, this study if of the Degas Seated Bather of 1899.

This is my most recent study.  I'm enjoying this one, it's hanging in my living room. Recreated out of torn magazine paper, hand torn and layered to create a painted look.

Torn paper art, torn paper collage, torn paper recycled magazine art, whatever you want to call it, it's a medium I have come to admire. I have had such a wonderful time experimenting in this fascinating and fun art form.  It is limitless, I recommend it to any artist  looking to venture into something different. This is the first in my series of three bull pictures, got the next one sketched out and ready to start adding color whenever the mood strikes.
