Torn Paper Art "The Blue Dancers" recreating Degas
Torn Paper Collage number 120, I had this lovely frame and mat, recycled it and created this picture to fit it. Trying my hand at Degas the Blue Dancers, he is one of my favorite artists, I love doing studies of his work.
Thanks, I'm having fun, Elizabeth your work is inspiring and I love how fast you knock them out. Always looking forward to seeing your next piece come alive.
This work is exclusively created in an impressionistic style, using only tiny bits of torn paper, layered to look as if painted, until closer examination reveals its true medium. "God is the artist, I am merely an apprentice, one of many blessed with studying His works."
I just love this, Terri. It's so hard to capture the dancers' grace, but you do it beautifully. So amazing!!
ReplyDeleteTerri, this is stunning, your work is getting better and better and better!
